Stir Fried Beef and Vegetables



Eid Moo-barak!!

Eid Al-Adha is an important religious event celebrated by the Muslims worldwide to remember the willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim (SAWW) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah, before which Allah provided him with a sheep to sacrifice instead.

It is celebrated every year on the 10th day of Zilhaj, according to the Islamic calender.

Meaty delights are all over the place this Eid. 

So as for what 'I' wanted to make, well, i wanted to make many things, my mind was whirling with ideas, so i came up with a few things. One of which was this stir fried beef.

lets get down to it than!
The quantity of ingredient is up to you.
You can 1/2 the recipe easily.
Ingredients: 
Beef Tenderloin/undercut :  1 1/2 kg
Carrots : 1/2 kg 
Capsicum : 1/2 kg
Onion : 1/2 kg
Ginger garlic paste : 1 tbsp
Green chilies : 7-8 finely chopped
Salt : to taste
Black pepper : 1 tbsp
Soy sauce : 6-7 tbsp (adjust according to taste)
Chili sauce : 5-6 tbsp
Vinegar : 3 tbsp
Ketchup : 5-6 tbsp
Chinese Salt : 1 tbsp
Red chili flakes : 1 1/2 tbsp
Sugar : 3 tbsp

Here's How its Done:


Cut the Beef into strips. Thinly slice carrots, capsicum and Onions.

Mix together Soy sauce, Chili sauce, Vinegar, Red chili flakes, chinese salt, Salt, Black pepper, Ketchup and Sugar. Keep aside.

Heat a wok a high flame, add 2 tbsp of oil. When the oil is hot add the Vegetables. Stir fry for a minute or two on high heat with a  little bit of salt and pepper. Take out and  keep aside.

Add 3-4 tbsp of oil in the same wok, when hot add ginger garlic paste and finely chopped green chilies. When fragrant, add the beef strips.
Cook till the beef is tender and the water evaporates.

Add the prepared sauce. Mix.

Add the fried vegetables. Mix 

Serve immediately !

      You can serve it with fried rice as well !
